Living Deeply …

With Nili Weissman

Cohorts 1 & 2 – Living Deeply With a Sacred Text: The Wilderness as Promised Land

Come join this holy caravan of seekers as we explore the paradox of how the Wilderness of our lives is also the Promised Land. Psalm Writing for Holidays: More Light – Writing Your Own Psalm for Hanukkah

With Sharon Dolin

During Kislev, the darkest days of the year leading up to Hanukkah, we are souls yearning towards the light, yet we know there is deep, mystical knowledge to unearth from the darkness. In preparation for Hanukkah, compose your own psalm to explore the depths and bring more light into your life. In this supportive workshop, we read Hebrew psalms in translation as a paradigm for personal prayer, before turning to contemporary devotional poems, as we discuss different approaches to communing with the Divine Presence. No writing experience or knowledge of poetry is necessary. Bring an open heart, notebook, and pen.

Day & Date: Sunday December 2

Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Location: Romemu Office 43 Central Park North, Suite 1A
