Romemu, West End Presbyterian Church, Rivers of Living Water, and the Nur Ashki Jerrahi Sufi Order will bring our diverse communities of faith together for a musical evening of prayer, song, and wisdom. Our communities hold music at the heart of our prayer experience and believe that through our music we deepen our connection to the Holy and to one another. Without relinquishing the uniqueness of our faith traditions, we will explore a sacred point of meeting – what is possible when, together, we open our ears, voices, and hearts to sing a new song?
Free and open to the public. An offering will be collected for both the Interfaith Assembly on Homelessness and Housing and the Ali Forney Center, an organization that protects LGBTQ youths from the harms of homelessness and empowers them with the tools needed to live independently. Please contact Eleanor Harrison Bregman or Davie Floyd for more information!
