Wednesday, April 3, 2019 - 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
We will take a deep dive into the fascinating relationship between Easter and Passover. Even if you do not celebrate one or both of these, join us as we explore the themes and origins of these holidays historically and theologically – how they are related and how they are different. What is the perennial wisdom underlying these Spring holidays and how do we access it in our lives?
Bring a vegetarian/dairy snack to share. Doors open 6:30PM for food and schmooze and session begins promptly at 7:ooPM. Location given upon registration. Email Rev. Eleanor Harrison Bregman to register at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Strangers No More Monthly Discussion Series is a non-judgmental, wonderfully diverse setting for interfaith couples; for those interested in Judaism or Romemu but who grew up in another tradition; and for those who identify as Jewish but still feel “a stranger” at times in Jewish settings. We meet the first Wednesday of each month and explore together through conversation, facilitated exercises, and contemplative practices. While attendance at every session is not a requirement, we hope you will attend as many as you can.
