Wednesday, February 26, 2020 - 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Tonight we will explore how we navigate our families of origin and our in-laws when we have different faith traditions and/or radically different ways of practicing within the same faith tradition. What are the blessings and complexities related to our families which can actually serve to deepen our spiritual lives? If we have children or plan to have children, what can we learn from one another about raising them in the context of our multi-faith lives and families?
Are you part of an interfaith couple or family? Grow up in one? Do you come from or identify with a tradition – or traditions – other than Judaism? Are you finding your way back to Judaism after many years? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, come and join this wonderfully diverse part of the Romemu community for our monthly discussion series – a safe, non-judgmental setting to explore together.
Newcomers welcome and expected. This is a series, and while we hope you will attend all of them throughout the year for continuity’s sake, it is not required.
Doors open at 6:45pm. Session 7-9PM. Please bring a vegetarian snack to share. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org and to receive location details.
