Strangers No More Monthly Discussion Series – Session #5 – Navigating our Families of Origin and In-laws

Wednesday, January 2, 2019 - 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Navigating our Families of Origin and In-Laws in Multi-Faith Families
Tonight we will explore how we navigate our families of origin and our in-laws when we have different faith traditions and/or radically different ways of practicing within the same faith tradition. What are the blessings and complexities related to our families which can actually serve to deepen our spiritual lives?

Are you an interfaith couple wrestling with how you will get married, raise children and celebrate holidays? Interested in Judaism or Romemu but grew up in another tradition? Identify as Jewish but still feel “a stranger” at times in Jewish settings? If you answered “yes” any of these questions, come and join a wonderfully diverse part of the Romemu community for our monthly discussion series – a safe, non-judgmental setting to explore together.

Bring a vegetarian/dairy snack to share. NOTE TIME CHANGE: Doors open 6:30PM for food and schmooze and session begins promptly at 7:ooPM.

Newcomers expected and welcomed. This session is part of a series that meets the first Wednesday of each month. While attendance at every session is not a requirement, we hope you will attend as many as you can! Location given upon registration. Email Rev. Eleanor Harrison Bregman to register at
