Strangers No More Discussion Series Session #2: Spiritual Belonging and Estrangement

Wednesday, October 16, 2019 - 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Location Given Upon Registration

Are you part of an interfaith couple or family? Grow up in one? Do you come from or identify with a tradition – or traditions – other than Judaism? Are you finding your way back to Judaism after many years?

Join the Strangers No More/Multi-Faith community at Romemu for our second session of the new year. Tonight we will wrestle with the spectrum of feeling “a stranger” and feeling “at home”… in┬áthe┬áreligions of our upbringing, the religions of our families, at Romemu and within the Strangers No More community. What can we do to move closer to a sense of spiritual belonging? How do we make ourselves and others feel at home or estranged?

Newcomers welcome and expected. This is a series, and while we hope you will attend all of them throughout the year for continuity’s sake, it is not required.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Session 7-9PM. Please bring a vegetarian snack to share. RSVP to eleanor@romemu.org.

Location will be Upper West Side – exact details will be given upon RSVP.
