Tuition subsidies and housing stipends, if needed, are available for those who qualify. To apply for a tuition waiver, please indicate your level of need on your application.

The actual per-student cost is $15,000 per person. We are grateful to our generous donors who subsidize this groundbreaking program. To sponsor or partially sponsor a student in our yeshiva, click here. To learn more about sponsoring a student, contact us at

Housing Grant:

Students ages 20-39 accepted to the full-time summer program will be eligible for a housing grant in the amount of $1,250 provided that they do not have access to free or low-cost housing in New York City and that studying at Romemu Yeshiva would be a significant financial hardship without this grant.

Romemu Yeshiva offers several fellowships in the amount of $750 to summer students ages 20-39 who are deeply committed to our vision of transformative contemplative Jewish study, practice, and prayer and can help bring our vision of Judaism into the world. Romemu Yeshiva fellows have demonstrated a commitment to leadership, innovation, community and creativity.

Eligible students will either have demonstrated leadership in these areas and/or see their studies at Romemu Yeshiva as an opportunity to enhance their future contributions to these values and the communities that embody them as leaders.

Please note that these fellowships are unfortunately limited and we cannot always extend fellowships to every excellent applicant.

The fellowship covers tuition, provides a $1,250 housing stipend, and an additional award of $750. Following the summer, fellows are required to design and implement a project inspired by their studies at the yeshiva. Submission of a fellows’ project plan and proof of first steps of implementation are required to release the final payment. Half of this award is paid on June 15, with the remainder paid on August 15, pending project requirements.
