Fear, Love, and Unification

Fear and love arise from a sense of separation. We never separate from G-d. Overcoming fear is a unification. Don't fight what you fear- love it! See it as an opportunity to connect with G-d.

Trust in G-d

Fear comes from a sense of powerlessness. There are two levels of fear: The first level, which is functional, is the fear of punishment and guilt. The second level is the awareness of majesty; where We attain understanding of Hashem's greatness.

Integral Joy

There are many levels of joy.

Emotions have hierarchies. The first level of joy is physical pleasure. As we mature, we experience spiritual and intellectual joy. As our heart grows, we are able to take in more of life. We enjoy life; we are "in" joy.

Condition of the heart

It is a natural birthright awaiting notice. All doubts are clarified with a higher conscious state. Joy arises by being connected to G-d, friends,family and the Divine Purpose.

Meditation

Meditation is a form of inquiry.

The Kabbalah has very simple meditations. Begin by sitting in a chair and feel bodily sensations. Then by feeling emotions and being aware of your thoughts. Now ask yourself who is the witness that is constantly watching your thoughts.

Everything is Torah.

To grow and achieve higher stages of consciousness, you need to work on all facets of life not just meditation and prayer. It is important to work on multiple levels of developments. Torah is not everything but everything is Torah.
